Marketing Executive Nairobi Kenya
We seek to recruit a Sales Executive whose main purpose of this job is to improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Sourcing for new clients, making client visits and ensuring sales with both walk-in and external clients.
- Prepare, share timely and follow up airfreight & sea freight quotations for new/potential clients.
- Work closely with the networks we are in order to expand our business globally.
- Learn and adopt best practices to improve performance daily; (Constant Incremental Improvement)Researching and analyzing sales options,
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling,
- Sell company products and solutions by developing relationships and recommending solutions,
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements,
- Close deals and handle complaints or objections,
- Attain the communicated monthly sales turnover.
- Actively make client visits and follow up to ensure client satisfaction and secure business.
- Any other duties as assigned by Management.
Knowledge & Skills
- A minimum of 2 years Sales and Marketing experience in a Transport & Logistics Organization or in a clearing & forwarding firm.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing.
- Must have a high degree of self-motivation and drive,
- Must uphold strong commercial awareness,
Should be able to cope with rejection and maintain resilience, - Excellent communication and Analytical skills.
- Ability to persuade and close sales,
- Ability to flourish in a competitive environment,
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player
